Kristen Otto is the Vice President of Professional Services at Emory Valley Center where she’s been employed since 2013. A Licensed Practical Nurse, Kristen holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from King University, equipping her with a unique blend of clinical and business expertise. Kristen began her career in the disabilities sector in 2000 as a Direct Support Professional at an agency in Iowa, where she quickly advanced to roles such as Site Coordinator, Program Manager, and Quality Improvement Manager. Her diverse experiences have provided her with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the field. At Emory Valley Center, Kristen oversees all areas of Quality Assurance and Professional Services, along with some Business Development. Kristen is also involved in Tennessee Community Organizations (TNCO) and serves as the Regulatory Co-Chair as well as a member of the Membership Committee. Kristen has also participate in the University of Tennessee Consortium for Social Enterprise Effectiveness Program as well as Leadership Anderson County (Class of 2022).
Outside of work, Kristen enjoys spending time with her children, Harlow, Hawkins, and Huxley. She also enjoys working out, enjoying local breweries and food trucks, traveling, and home improvement projects.
