Amanda Sutton is the Laboratory Manager at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She has been employed with Covenant Health since 2008. Amand holds a Bachelor’s in Medical Laboratory Science from Lincoln Memorial University. Amanda started her career at Methodist Medical Center as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant, and after graduation in 2013 worked as a Medical Laboratory Scientist and Point of Care Technical Specialist. She transferred to LeConte Medical Center in 2019 and served as their Laboratory Manager until she returned to Methodist Medical in as Laboratory Manager in 2024. Amanda enjoys using her knowledge in laboratory science to help provide a positive impact to patients and her community. Amanda is a graduate of Leadership Anderson County ( Class of 2025), a Lincoln Memorial Forty under Forty ( 2025), and serves on the board for The Children’s Museum of Oak Ridge, Young Professionals of Anderson County, and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Amanda is a Clinton native, graduating from Clinton High School. She enjoys spending time with her husband Christopher, and son Tyler. They enjoy spending time together, whether it is at their favorite spot, Disney, or the baseball fields.
