Ambassador Since: 2019

Ann Gann is a retired teacher with 31 years of experience at Clinton High School as a teacher of English, yearbook advisor, cheer coach and an inductee to the CHS Wall of Fame. As a member of the DKG International Society,  she has held leadership roles and served on many committees in the local chapter and on the state level. Since her retirement, Ann has advocated for people with diabetes as a blogger and a peer mentor, speaking to diabetes groups throughout the United States.  She is active in the community through various organizations. At First Baptist Church, she serves as a deacon, Life Group teacher, choir member, and member of various committees.  Through The Anderson County Chamber of Commerce, Ann serves as an Ambassador and was awarded the R.C. Hoskins Award for volunteer work. As a member of the Timely Topics Club, she serves as an officer and committee member. Hobbies include reading, volunteering, and gardening.  Ann is married to Larry Gann and they have a son, Chris, who lives in Nashville with his family.
